One of our only fine dining places here in SoHum is called "The Groves". It is also a winery and has some divine wine. The only main dish I can get there is pasta with mushrooms, asparagus and truffle oil. It is very subtle and delicious, especially as leftovers the next day. Here I paired it with a delicious and classic avocado sandwich with lettuce from our very own deck garden!
I am a mom of a wonderful little four year old, an sweet baby, and wife to a thirty one year old. I am inspired by flavors and colors. I hope to change lives by infusing my cooking with love and special touches. We are also very into eating mostly vegan foods and playing with our doggie! I consider myself vegan-ish. I avoid animal products for a few reasons. I care about all beings, and wish for harmony for everyone and everything. I believe that it is more important to focus on what you eat instead of what you shouldn't eat. When it comes down to it, I feel better about myself and my family is thriving as vegan-ish.
